[iTunes] My mac @ work doesn't know it has iTunes installed

Weird one that I can't figger...

G5 with iTunes 9.21. 10.4.11

I can't seem to subscribe to podcasts, nor download individual episodes
through the iTunes store.

I've reinstalled.
I've rebuilt launch services.
Podcasts are NOT disabled under the Parental tab.

... the weird thing is I'm able to continue receiving shows from feeds that
I'd already subscribed to.

When I click on "phobos" links, instead of jumping to iTunes, Safari jumps
to this page: http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/download/?id=74069835
