[iTunes] more iTunes hassles

Did you move the .itl file before you selected it?  Try this.  Under the "iTunes menu" select Preferences and then select Advanced.  There is a box that shows the path to the iTunes music folder.  Click on "Change" and navigate to your external drive and the Music folder.

Sorry Rich, I don't know that much about iPhoto, but there are similarities with iTunes.
