The left column was all about navigating the iTunes store. I finally got there by clicking on a purchase. Then it magically appeared. I have no idea what I did in the Store to make that column disappear so I can't recreate it. If you want to block your computer from sharing your iTunes music, just go to iTunes Preferences>Sharing and uncheck all boxes. Its not necessary to disable ports. If you insist, you can go to System Preferences>Sharing and choose the Firewall tab. Scroll through the list until you find iTunes music sharing and make sure that box is *not* checked either. That disables the port on your software firewall. Your IT admin would have to close the Port 3689 for your LAN, but that would seem highly redundant after the settings described above. -- Michael Prete _____________ More will be revealed. That area has two choices, one can change it by clicking on the words at the top of the artwork area. It will either say "Now Playing" or "Selected Item". Yep, I get that there are those two options for the corner artwork display. But while the song is selected and while it is playing, the lower corner does not display the artwork yet the Cover Flow does show the artwork. >If that info doesn't help, have your tried to click on "Advanced" in >the overhead drop down menu and then select "Get Album Artwork"? Getting the Artwork via any method, (I use Clutter) does put everything as it should be but my question remains, why would the Cover Flow show artwork and not the lower corner when the song is both selected and playing? So if another song in your library has artwork already assigned to it prior to the existence of a later added song, the new song will have Cover Flow display but the new song will not automatically have the artwork in the lower corner. And then again, if a song is in a format that will not accept artwork (ie. a .wav file) then it will never show the art in the lower left corner but it can show the Album art in the Cover Flow area. Makes it a little trouble to find a book since I have to do a search on two places to find it. And, is there a way to have the genera to automatically put Audiobook in that column rather than me having to type it in after they are loaded? I looked and looked in the Help file but couldn't find the answer. Only how to view the genera.
