I've never downloaded dvds before, and I have a ton of questions. first, how do I do it? add file to library? the dvd has separate folders on it for video and for sound... do I add all the files? how do I figure out what tracks have what name? The dvd insert didn't come with a track list like cds do. I'm sure there are other questions, but I don't know enough to even formulate intelligent questions, so any guidance would be helpful. thanks! -becca "In a text based environment, there's nothing *but* semantics" -Furp ____________________________________________________________________________________ Never miss a thing. Message-ID: <2D2E6B95-A989-4A11-97F8-164E3BB5BB31@gmail.com> I like this podcast (Bloggingheads.tv): http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast? id=97874710 They release about 6-8 podcasts a week, with no set schedule. I keep noticing that I don't get every episode. I know there is an iTunes preference to "download all" episodes when new episodes are available. But I would like to be selective, only apply that to certain feeds. Anyone know how? Trying to load some from here and some from there causes a warning, iPod can only be synched to one at a time, I'd need to erase what's there before it will synch with another library. Any known way around this limitation? Managing manually of course. Any idea why this is happening and is there a way to stop this or has my iTunes developed Alzheimer's? In iTunes Music is a list by Author, you click on that and there is a folder called unknown, click on that and you have the book. Having said that I have hundreds of books and all are arranged like this. This is the way the Mac loaded them. Most iTunes can find the book with no problem but everyday there are a few books that it can't find. terry http://www.terrypogue.com/Terry "My idea of pure heaven is to spend a day in the kitchen, peeling, chopping, and stirring while the words of a good book fill the air around me."
