When I tried to share it with idvd I got an error message that it couldn't be rendered because idvd wasn't installed properly or I may not have project disk permission or not enough disk space. I reinstalled idvd, checked permissions and have lots of disk space. I am running os 10.4.11 on a 2ghz intel core 2 duo. Any suggestions Rob From rotorwash at mac.com Tue Jan 1 10:03:32 2008 From: rotorwash at mac.com (Mike Rehbein) Date: Tue Jan 1 10:03:40 2008 Subject: [MacDV] Imovie problems In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: <76049278-BCC9-41C6-99F9-81A52981BA76@mac.com> Try exporting the movie to a DV file. No idea about HandBrake (others seem to know). VisualHub will work as well. --- Rodney D. I launched DVD Studio Pro (after not having done so for a few weeks) and all of the application menus (File, Edit etc.) are missing. I've tried: ? Rebooting ? Loading/unloading fonts. ? Removing the com.apple.dvdstudiopro.plist file ? Removing the User's Library/App Support/Final Cut Studio/DVD Studio Pro folder (which allowed me to choose the menu setup - I was hopeful that might wake something up) ? Bogging about in the DVD Studio Pro app's package for menu pref files ? Creating a new user and launching DVDSPro None of which have fixed my issue. I can't find anything on Apple's site nor on Google. I've seen something similar from time to time under Leopard but it only seemed to occur when I was moving quickly from one app to another and all I had to do was slowly go out then back into the app and the menus would appear - can't remember the specific apps I've seen it in. Any thoughts???? In your case if fixing permissions and prebindings and general maintenance isn't doing it, I'd go back to plan B. Throw away as much of DVD pro as you can see, maybe even the receipts, and then try the custom install trick again. I still haven't figured out how to fix it so that'll be my next shot. I might also try emailing the OSX for Users list as this might be a more OS based issue...
