AirPort Utility recognizes the base station (placed next to the computer) but then never stops "reading airport extreme configuration", at least not for 15 minutes or longer. This occurs through several resets of the base station with or without unplugging and replugging the power cord, and through reinstallation of MacOSXUpdCombo10.5.3. Any suggestions? Should it just be allowed a longer read time? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Sometimes that helps. Apple actually say that if you have a number of base stations, it's best to connect them through ethernet together, configure them, including setting passwords and access limits, and then change them them to the wireless settings. Same goes for things like IP cameras and other wired/ wireless devices. David On Jun 29, 2008, at 8:33 PM, James Herndon wrote: David, Thanks for your help.
