Fax program needed for TIbook

I have used the Global Village fax program for many years with my 
previous Powerbooks and with all of the desktop Macs in my office and 
it has worked superbly in allowing us to fax from within Filemaker Pro  
since it appears as a printer.  I have just bought a TiBook and the 
Global Fax program consistently crashes the computer when attempting to 
fax.  Does anyone know of a way to get this fax program to work on a 
TiBook ?  The faxSTF program that came bundled with the computer will 
not allow faxing from within Filemaker.
