  I finally bit the bullet and learned Studio MX by

I'm using OS 8.6, but had a similar experience with Adobe Page Mill 3.0.
Worked well for my purposes and I was able to build my business site
satisfactorily but then could not upload from within the program.
I used the Freeware, Fetch 3.03 and it worked just fine.
Only problem I had was after installing Norton Personal Firewall.
Took some time to figure out that the firewall also blocked uploading unless
temporarily disabled.
