[BusMac] The List and its future

I do engineering work on my Macs (iMac, two 7100's, a 9600 and a IIci).
I would like to try to push Apple in the direction of Engineering and
business. If they get a foot hold in those areas, the Mac will be seen as a
real and viable alternative, not just a toy (not my feeling, but the
attitude of a great many managers, engineers and IT people).
I do CAD work and am getting into P.O.S. software and hardware for retail
and manufacturing.
One of my Macs, a 9600 has been equipped with an Orange Micro card with
Windows NT and an Intel Pentium processor. To date it has done a credible
job. It gets out on the Internet and runs the latest browsers. I would also
have to say it is more stable than most regular PC's I've seen, or had to
work with.
My other interest is Apple's Newton. I have three of the little beasts and
like them a lot.
So that is a little about me.
Best wishes to the group,
Wm. Neal Lewis
