Thanks Richard and Riba... Thought that's what it was... Now I'm dealing with a different problem... I put the 8500 back in the Xserve and connected the 15" TFT to the ADC/DVI connector... Everything works EXCEPT the monitor picture!... USB is working because I have the keyboard connected to the monitor, and the eject key opens the CD-ROM drive just fine... Screen is totally black... Not even a flicker... Weird... Could the settings for the 23" display still be in there, and that's what's confusing the monitor?... Guess I should have changed it to 1024x768 BEFORE I switched monitors... I thought the computer automatically sensed what kind of monitor you had hooked up... Perhaps the ADC/DVI converter is getting in the way of that?... Arrrg!...
