[CUBE] PL upgrade and Death Sleep

Simon, could you describe the symptoms?  Is it just slow to awaken, or 
inconsistent about awakening  or do you get the COMA?  That is, the LED 
stops pulsing and the hard drive starts up, but-----the mouse and 
monitor do not awaken and no amount of coaxing will do it.
