[CUBE] Problems with the list?

well, when i upgraded, i went from 320 to over 800 - this indeed made a 
difference in my performance.  the os doesn't have nearly as many 
pageouts, and it seems to cache things like menus, etc..  also, it 
allows me to listen to itunes, or even rip a cd while phuking around in 
photoshop.  before, i couldn't do both very easily.  is my machine 
faster?  i don't think so, but i do feel that my apps launch faster 
(probably b/c no pageouts have to occur).
