Smiley/Question Mark/ CD Hostage

Hello My Mac Cube Heroes,
  Check it out:
I received a cube in the mail today.
I set it up and powered on.
All I get is a folder with a "flashing smiley"
face and then "question mark"
Its Smiley Face-Question Mark
over and over blinking.
  I put a OS X Panther CD in to try to
boot up with that. It just swallowed it up
and won't recognize it when I boot up holding
the c key down.
NOW I can't get the CD out.
What to do, what to do!

Second problem DIFFERENT CUBE
I have a CD stuck in a different Cube.
It is a CD from the Pharmacy with a sticker
label on it. CD is now stuck. Is there a release
for the CD or something like that?
