graphics boards, the cube, and Apple LCDs

I am wondering if anyone can tell me what the
usefullness of various graphics boards are that are
usable (without modification to the cube) and how
these (i.e. GeForce) correlate to the usability of the
various Mac LCD displays i.e. 17", 20", 22", 23"...

I'm looking for a cube and if I could get some info on
graphics hardware I can make a better decision as to
what my needs are.
