Sound volume too low with new 20in LCD

Folks,

I just plugged my new ACD 20 in and its a beautiful
thing!  I had a 15in before.  Fonts are a bit small
though.

One thing.  The speaker volumes are really low.  I
have the original Cube speakers and they are connected
through the ACD.  To get decent volume I have to have
iTunes and the system volume at the maximum, even then
it is not loud.  Any ideas?
