jog my memory

hello fellow cubers. quick question. i was under the assumption you could
use pc100 or pc133 chips to upgrade the ram. i have just removed the
existing ram and replaced it with a whole load of pc133 ram - then found the
cube doesn't like it. fortunately the dealer will take it back for a swap,
but i just wanted to double check with one of you knowledable cubists out
there.
