BTW, Kunga, I have my Cube apart today (I'm swapping hard drives) and looking at the DVD-ROM drive, I think that it IS a laptop drive, with an adapter gizmo plugged on. That is, the printed circuit card with the IDE connector and the power connector looks like it's plugged onto the back of the drive, and the drive itself has a much smaller connector. I'm thinking about trying to separate the two for a closer look. Anybody have PDFs of the laptop Superdrive handy?
