One would think so and 4x is much better than my iMac's 1x. But I'm 
waiting for confirmation that iDVD 3 can install off the iLife CD, run 
and burn DVDs with this rig before I go through the trouble and 
expense. 4x is much better than my iMac's 1x.  Did Rick C post 
confirmation?
