FCExpress is a video editing application. IDVD is a DVD Authoring
application - they're totally different programs & uses.

DVD Studio is the "pro" version of iDVD, as FCExpress is the next step up
from iMovie

If you wanted to know the learning curve of DVD Studio - it's not that steep
- about as hard as advanced powerpoint - but you do need a working knowledge
of video editing & photoshop - as you have to create all your own assets
from scratch.
