I can only sympathize with your rant. As Cube lovers (and aren't we all on this list), we're left in the dark by Apple w.r.t. DVD burning. Some have come up with an enabler (remember OWC having an enabler for their DVD drives) but they were immediately sued by Apple. The only (illegal) solution is to use hacked versions of iDVD or to pay an awful lot of money for a program (DVDSP) that does a whole lot more than you require as an amateur for burning your DVD's.
