Don't give a crap about the noise the DP makes - it's a workhorse, a helluva fast machine and actually ain't _that_ loud (it isn't the noisiest machine I've had here by some margin). Frankly the dual-CPU upgrades for the cube don't tempt me in the least - too close to the price of a new tower (especially when you take in to account the excellent re-sale value of a stock 450 cube). No criticism of any sort intended of either the upgrades or those who buy them - it's all down to priorities and personal preference - not to mention the location where they're being used. It's good to have options. My point is simply this: post this stuff for yourself by all means, but kindly do not include us all in your hopeless generalisations - I for one don't give a stuff about MDD fan noise.... Gary
