[CUBE] Strange HD Problem

Thanks.
The drive is most like dead, allright. Since I had the cube taken
apart, I installed a 80 mm fan and the current goes all the way to the
fan even when the HD starts acting up. The DC board supplies the
constant 5 and 12 V, no flaws there.
I carbon copied my system to my Ipod and when I take out the HD from
the IDE bus, everything works fine, including the CD-ROM that fails at
the same time as the HD.
Well, time to switch to a 7200 80 GB Barracuda IV .
