Sonnet 1.4 GHz upgrades

Funny but amongst all the smokescreen of crock at the end of the rainbow
G5s, no one seemed to notice that Apple reinforced its quite unique position
as the only computer company that actually releases new computers *slower*
that is old computers.

Whatever happened to the dual G4 1.4s and why no singles? [ may be because
there is not that much difference in speed? Single G5 versus dual G4 ... ]

Well, you can now have a faster than new Cube ...

Sonnet announces G4 1.4GHz upgrade for G4 Towers and Cube - Sonnet has a
press release today on their new $599.95 list 1.4GHz G4 CPU upgrade for
G4/AGP Towers (Sawtooth to Quicksilver models) and the G4 Cube (requires a
new Cube install kit to be available soon they say for $59.95).
