I've opened my keyboard, cleaned it, reassembled it, and now replaced it. It's a very, very hard job with many small screws (~31), tiny rubber cushions from under the keys, and LEDs (capslock, numlock, etc). Unless you are really, really set on doing this -I wouldn't recommend it. Ed
