However it's a force quit that's virtually guaranteed to corrupt files, whether you're using OS 9 or 10. Not the best way. If you must do this, you'll also want to run DFA for OS9 or fsck for OS 10 to fix what you did. :) > No, don't "dump" OS 9 and start using OS >X. OS 9 is better.
