[CUBE] OT - missing dir. icons in Home dir.

a bit OT.  a software update on iBook (10.2) for itunes4 went wrong in
the very final stages.  (it went ok on my cube 10.1).  a re-boot on
the ibook seemed to bring up osx ok, but Finder hangs when trying to
do anything.

i reinstalled os + additional apps.  everything appears to work ok,
except for one thing: the icons for the items in the home dir are now
missing.  the item names are still there and clickable.  icons
elsewhere are ok.

i looked on knowledge base and elsewhere,  couldn't find any help.

help!  how can i rebuild the icons in that dir?
