I guess I might be interested in this since very few apps I use benefit 
from the Altivec unit anyway. Of course such upgrade should be quite a 
bit cheaper than the similar G4 upgrade since for a small difference in 
price I'd go for G4 although I don't really need one. Ah, the consumer 
society... :)))
