This kept all my settings etc. So far it works great. For those of you nearly ready to either upgrade to Jaguar or to Panther from any version of OSX, run DiskUtilities/First Aid before you do the installation. Fix your drive BEFORE upgrading. Not doing this can lead to some of the problems I've been reading about . . . Just my 2 Cents Worth . . . Gary
