[CUBE] a kind of relay from cube plug ins?

long time ago - before i gt my 20" display with a usb hub - i had a hub 
for the power hungry external usb devices.

until recently i had a firewire cable attached to the cube, hanging 
loose for connecting several devices.

so i did not need to touch or move my cube.
