"Looks like this one. It's blue with a variable dial you dangle out the
core. The website is done with Frames so no URLs to individual pages
are available. Stupid Frames. So here's copy from the two top
candidates. Click on FANS and download the PDF files. They are same
price. I'd go for the manually adjustable one KPV. The KPE only has a
sensor but no manual adjustment.
80x80x25mm KPV Zurück
Verax CAIRdB
fan $51
80x80x25mm KPV
VERAX thermo-controlled chassis fan with manually adjustable fan-speed.
The Verax 80x80mm fan 80KPV was developed for the cooling and aeration
of PC-housings and offers a variable potentiometer to regulate the
individual rpm and temperature demand of a housing. Depending on the
demand for cooling performance, the air flow can be regulated to
minimize noise.
Variable temperature/rpm control with potentiometer
Standard-80 mm fan fitting dimensions
No motor noise due to 3-phase - DC-motor with external commutation
Long life span with two quality bal bearings
All materials UL-V0 proof
OR
80x80x25mm KPE Zurück
Verax CAIRdB
fan $51
80x80x25mm KPE
The Verax 80x80mm fan 80KPE was developed for the cooling of
PC-housings. The fan is equipped with a temperature sensor
(NTC-resistor).
External temperature-control
Standard-80 mm-fan fitting dimensions
No motor noise due to 3-phase - DC-motor with electronic commutation
Long life span with two quality ball bearings
All materials are UL-V0 proof
I think the V is higher end."
I want to do a review of the better of these two fans for Cube
Upgrades. Since they are the same price which one do you think is the
most flexible for a Cube application? Here's another market for you and
Verax. My choice would be thermo sensor and manual dial both in one. Do
either of these have that?
