[CUBE] Sudden death

Mee tooo!  I have been fighting this for a year and I don't know what to do
so I am giving up and writing this on my lovely new eMac ($649 from Apple) 
I will probaby sell it on eBay and hope the next guy can figure it out since
I have not had any luck.
