road runner, your cable internet provider, may have a dial-up plan that you may be able to use/already pay for, but just haven't initialized it yet? i know it's this way with my dsl provider. but then, they're a telco, so road runner may have not have the same infrastructure to offer such a service. regardless, i'd stay away from AOL. maybe you could google a local dial-up isp around hatteras/outer banks that could give you a temp. dial up for a small fee if you called them up and asked? --alan On Apr 19, 2004, at 10:47 AM, Mark Plunkett wrote: > e.g. Trial AOL??
