[CUBE] Problems with Processor upgrade

This also happens with my Gigadesigns 1.2 upgrade CPU. It will not go 
to sleep on its own, and when I put it to sleep via the power button, 
it will kernel panic on waking up. Gigadesigns' support was not 
supportive. They just wrote "Must be a software problem. We suggest you 
don't sleep your Cube."
