http://www.powerlogix.com/ Macworld: PowerLogix replaces PowerCube with ClearCube By Brad Cook January 09, 2004 9:30 am ET Apple's Power Mac G4 Cube may have been discontinued a while back, but the computer still has its fans. With that in mind, PowerLogix announced a follow-up to its limited-run PowerCube: the ClearCube, an acrylic enclosure that improves on the original Cube box with better airflow so that you can upgrade your CPU and video card without worrying about heat problems. The ClearCube is larger than Apple's original Cube enclosure but smaller than the PowerCube at 8.5 by 8.5 inches. You can customize the body or leave it clear, and the anodized aluminum grille on the top adds a G5-style touch to your computer. A special bracket and cable are included with the ClearCube so that you can move the Cube's heat-sensitive VRM card into the airflow. It starts shipping on January 12 for US$129.
