I've tried "Nap" several times on my dual 1.25 FW800--it had no negative effect on performance at all and dropped temps about 10c. BUT...it would freeze the computer from time to time so a hard restart was necessary. I quit using it. My wife uses a 1ghz PL Cube and I'd love to be able to use Nap in it since it is rather hot.
