USB 2.0 to FireWire 400

Cubists,

I have a HP 3570c ScanJet scanner (which is USB 2.0) attched to one of the USB 1.1 ports on the Cube. Now I'm not taking full advantage of the speed provided by the USB 2.0 standards. I'd really like to know if someone's aware of some kind of cable converter capable of turning a USB 2.0 peripheral (as my scanner) into a FireWire 400 one. This way I'd be able to attach my scanner to one of the FW ports in the Cube.
