Airport Update (OT)

Enough airport owners/users on the list, maybe this will be simple:

Updated my Airport software to 3.4.1 last night. Did have blinking left 
and right indicators as the installer
indicated it was updating the "Airport Card".
The instructions prior to install told you how to update the software 
on the base station itself-using airport
utility and uploading the new software (or "follow the prompts" as 
Apple likes to say).
Problem was, there is no sofware to upload that I could find. Did I 
miss something?
