I just can't see the benefit of cordless mice, but I can see some of the drawbacks. Although it is rather amusing to watch my co-worker bang with his wireless mice on the desk in fury because it ran out of batteries in the critical moment. On the other hand, it is easier to smash the damn device against the wall if it doesn't have a cable.
