It is in the G4 CPU. It monitors the temperature of the processor 
itself.

The range values are actually meaningless because the sensor tolerance 
is very high, meaning that the values you get often do not match the 
real temperature at all. This is useful as a relative measure, so it 
makes sense to look at the temperature reading without GF3, and then do 
the same with GF3 card. That way you will see the relative change in 
temperature between two setups.
