[CUBE] Modem woes continued

I ended up buying a fax machine giving me some advantages over pure 
faxing via computer (I only used the internal modem for faxing). I'll 
post a mini-review of my experiences in case others are in the market.

Thank you all very much for your offers of assistance and valuable 
input. Again, the Cube community demonstrates its generosity and high 
level of civility!
