[Cube] Hacking your Cube

Has anyone here on the list managed (or attempted) to hack their G4 to
fit in a custom enclosure?

I need to make the guts of my cube fit into a box that is about 6.2" on
one dimension (width) and the cube is 1.5" too wide. I know the hard
drive takes up a good portion of the width and I'm willing to use an
external firewire 3.5" or 2/5" drive as my boot volume....
