[Cube] problem

hi:
a friend of mine has a cube w/powerlogix processor 1.2 mh, geforce 2 
video card, 80 gb hd,1.25 ram, os 10.3. he was using a 17" flat 
monitor. his daughter had a 20" flat  monitor, but her computer is in 
the shop so the technician connected the 20" to the cube. when they 
tried to boot, the screen remained black. he contacted me and i 
explained to him that his video card does not support the 20" monitor. 
they again connected the 17" monitor, but the cube didn't boot.
today, the technician came again and changed the geforce2 video card 
for the videocard from a g4 that is known to be working, replaced the 
powerlogix processor for the original processor, the memory modules 
were also checked, the modem was checked, but the cube still won't 
boot. the power button light is on. the technician thinks it is the 
logic board. could this be? btw, the cube is connected to a  apc smart 
ups 700.
ideas?
