[Cube] HELP!

Okay, I followed all the instructions and got the new hard drive installed into my Cube.  Everything appears to be working, however all I get is a gray screen when I turn the cube on.  I put in my System restore disc and tried to boot from that.  Not working.  And now I can't even eject the CD.  Any tips?  I can get the purple boot screen when I hold the option button, but I don't get any boot options.
