Hi Cube experts, I am experiencing unusual behavior of devices on the Firewire bus of the Cube which I assume are due to too much electrical demand on the Cube, since iPod, iSight and EyeTV take their supply off the bus. So, I wanted to install a self-powered hub. I chose a no-name device on eBay and connected everything, but once I turned on the Cube, the power supply of the hub went up in smoke. Assuming it was a faulty power supply, I had it replaced only to smell fried electronics a second time. Fortunately. no devices were hurt except for the hub's power supply. Can somebody recommend any self-powered hub (besides the Belkin, which seems to be the favorite over on Cubeowner) which runs fine on the Cube? Do units exist that ignore any power present on the "uplink" to the Cube, and supply all devices with power generated by the hub itself? It seems this would relieve the already heavily burdened Cube power supply a bit. Cheers, Christian
