When I had my cube, I had it on a piece of 3/4" plywood with a groove cut to the exact outline of the Cube base. It was very secure and wood being soft, totally elliminated the vibration I had seen when directly on my desk. The DVI connection on the Cube is for computer use. Are you saying your LCD TV has a DVI port? Follow the TV manual recomendations and do not void your warrantee. jj On 1-Feb-05, at 11:59 AM, cube-request at listserver.themacintoshguy.com wrote: > Vibration Isolation > To: "A place to discuss Apple's Cube." > <cube at listserver.themacintoshguy.com> > Message-ID: <818732ED-6D8C-11D9-B0D3-003065BF9DAE at shaw.ca> > Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset=US-ASCII > > I'm moving my Cube downstairs to hook up to my Sony LCD Rear Projection > TV and Onkyo receiver and the only place I have to put it is on the > subwoofer. > > 1) Any suggestions on what to set my Cube on to help absorb the > vibration from the sub? > > 2) Also, has anyone hooked their cube directly to a Sony LCD Rear > Projection thru the DVI connection?
