I tend to do this with the terminal, > cd /Volumes > ls from there you should see your iPod, however you named it. cd in there. There will be a whole bunch of dir called F00, F01 etc. each one contains your music files. To grab the whole lot do: > mkdir ~/mymusicfromipod > cp -R * ~/mymusicfromipod that should get you your files into the folder mymusicfromipod in your home directory. Hope this helps Piotr > Date: Thu, 20 Jan 2005 22:26:13 -0500 > From: Snow White <jj4 at sympatico.ca> > Subject: [Cube] ipod help - how do I get the songs from ipod to my G4 > To: cube at listserver.themacintoshguy.com > Message-ID: <33ED00C2-6B5C-11D9-BA8B-000D93C831CE at sympatico.ca> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed > > Hey: > > Anyone know how to get all my songs back off my ipod and into itunes or > even just onto my HD. > > Seems I lost most of the music files in a bad way and now I want to > recover them from my ipod.
