I have fallen victim to the Gray Striped Screen of Death, as noted, among other places, here : http://www.cubeowner.com/forums//index.php? showtopic=8050&hl=death My own screen shot here : http://idisk.mac.com/johnbryan/Public/ greyscreen.pdf I have done the Green Slime lube treatment on the fan a couple of years ago, and that worked great. It recently restarted the fan noise a bit, but not bad, but worse was the GSSoD. Treated it again with the Green Slime, but still have the problem, although the fan is quieter. My question is: Should I be able to 1) put a new fan on the ATI Radeon, and/or 2) get a base fan for the Cube, and/or get a heatsink for the GPU, or am I >> absolutely << facing haveing to scrounge for some card that is in stock somewhere and will fit in this thing? I mean, is this symptom a sign that the Radeon is fried, or can I somehow make it better? BTW, Just installed Tiger tonight and the card hasn't acted up all night. Don't know what is up with that. G4 450MHz Cube, 832MB RAM, 80 GB Seagate B'cuda V, BTO ATI Radeon 32MB (w fan) thanks, jb
