> the grand total comes to $1161.69. OUCH!! Did you tell them if you wanted to spend $1100, you'd buy two Mac minis? > Does anyone have any suggestions, ideas, input like going on to eBay > to get spare parts. I'm a bit apprehensive to do this so if you have > had any experiences buying logic boards via eBay, I would like to > know about it. I bought a new logic board on eBay for my Cube when a power issue shorted out the Firewire ports. New-to-me board plus shipping was $195 and it's run smoothly ever since. The guy who sold it didn't communicate well, but that's eBay shopping for you. At least the board itself came through fine. I've seen several Cubes chopped up for parts on eBay, so that's one way to get the fried bits back. For the video card and DVD drive, might as well part shop. Check out CubeOwner.com and dealmac.com to get off on the right foot. Matthew __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
