[Cube] New (to me) Cube Locks Up

Well, last night I started from scratch once again, completely
reformatting the hard drive. This time when I loaded OS X Tiger, I
immediately set the preferences so that the hard drive would not go
to sleep. It was the first thing I did after it restarted.

The updates, including the massive 170 mb 10.4.10 installed without a
problem, and it's now been running almost 12 hours without a lockup.

So I'm crossing my fingers and holding my breath that the freezing
issue is no more.

The test will come tonight when I start moving over two user accounts
and loading other software.
