[Cube] Leopard Install - update

So here is an update. The problems I'm having are not Leopard  
related. What happens is that when I put my Cube in target disk mode  
and connect it to Powerbook, it takes up to 3-4 minutes for the disk  
to appear in Disk Utility, and even then it does not mount. If I try  
to mount it it fails with an error and says to try to run disk first  
aid on it. I tried that but it never completed (at least not in 24  
hours :))....so it is impossible to use the disk in target disk mode.
Otherwise the disk seems to be working just fine when I boot from it.  
Ideas?
